Today is the fifth annual National Forklift Safety Day sponsored by the Industrial Truck Association (ITA). This event provides the opportunity to educate forklift operators and companies on the value and importance of forklift safety and operator training.

Fuel-driven forklifts, also known as LPG forklifts, have long
been a staple in warehouses and construction sites. Today, however, companies
have the option to choose a different kind of forklift, one powered by
electricity.

When the working storage capacity of a warehouse exceeds the 85 percent utilization level, productivity levels tend to take a dive. This can be attributed to a variety of issues, like extra work caused by the commingling of multiple pallets or SKUs in storage locations, overly congested receiving and shipping docks, and so on.
