First 30 Days

  • Travel time up to 50 miles from a Darr Facility,
  • No deductible
  • Tires, load wheels, light bulbs excluded

Major Components (31 days to 90 days)

Parts and Labor for Repairs to:

  • Engine and transmission
  • Fuel System (excluding filters)
  • Radiator
  • Starter
  • Alternator
  • Steer Axle
  • Mast and Carriage
  • Differential
  • Deductible $200.00
  • Travel Time is not included
  • Normal wear items are not included.  No tires, belts, hoses or brake shoes-pads or tune-up parts.

WARRANTY WILL NOT COVER

  • Damage caused by mis-use, abuse or accidents
  • Damage caused by corrosives in work environment
  • Lights, Belts or hoses after first 30 days
  • Travel Time after first 30 days

This warranty applies only to the listed equipment.  Damages, loss or expenses caused by equipment failure or downtime is not covered by this warranty.  No other warranties apply except for the items specifically defined by this warranty statement.  Darr Equipment retains the right to deny any warranty claim.  Any disputes will be resolved by arbitration in Dallas County, Texas.

Terms of Warranty

This warranty is subject to the following definitions, terms and conditions which shall apply with equal force and effect whether this order involved a SALE or LEASE of equipment.  The term Gold Medal describes the type of warranty applicable to each order of equipment and is made only to the original purchaser of such equipment and is non-transferable.  This warranty covers parts and labor only.

Warranty Limitations

  • This warranty is limited to machines operating in Darr’s designated service areas.
  • The machine must be operating in a normal, clean environment free from corrosion and excessive dust, dirt or hazards. 
  • Damage caused by improper operation will not be covered by this warranty.
  • This warranty does not include technician travel time to the machine location.  Travel charges will be invoiced to the purchaser.
  • A $200.00 deductible will be charged for any warranty claims after the first 30 days.

The machine must be serviced every 90 days or 250 hours during the warranty period.  Factory authorized filters and fluids must be utilized for planned maintenance.  Proper documentation of service performed must be maintained by the customer. Failure to perform this regularly scheduled maintenance voids this warranty.

  1. This warranty specifically excludes the repair of minor oil leaks, loose fasteners and hydraulic fittings, and the rebuilding or replacing of any component or assembly that might show signs of wear, but does not affect the safe operation of the equipment.
  2. Minor leaks are defined as one that does not require shutting the unit down to prevent a major failure.
  3. Tune ups, tires, batteries, all filters.
  4. The machine must be delivered into a Darr Equipment service area. Travel time is not covered under this warranty.

Darr reserves the right to deny a warranty claim if any of the following conditions exist:

  1. Engine starts and runs with no smoke. Electrical system charges and battery holds charge.
  2. Transmission works in all gears with capacity load.
  3. Brakes stop machine with capacity load. Park brake holds truck on grade.
  4. Truck steers in both directions. Power steering (if so equipped) is operational.
  5. Differential operates smoothly with a minimum or gear noise.
  6. Mast hydraulic systems lift, tilt, hold and lower the capacity load without sticking, binding.
  7. Body and Frame: Unit is steam-cleaned and all gauges and controls work. Seat, steering wheel, and pedal pads are in good condition, tires at least 80% of original tread.

Definition of Drive Train and Major Components

  1. Internal Combustion: Engine, transmission, drive axle and torque converter
  2. Electric: Pump and drive motors, electrical panel and drive axle.
  3. Major components are the drive train, alternator and starter, radiator and cooling system.
